Well, I hate to say it but all the renovations have stopped...we have had two inspectors in here within
the past month and they are both in agreement that we need a brand new home. One of the inspector was just a regular
home inspector and his conclusion was that the house is caving in...all the foundation under the house is cracked and of course
that we need a new home...the second inspector was from Health Canada and his conclusion was that the foundation is sinking
and again that we need a new house.
Needless to say, were now stuck until we hear more. Our roof has gotten much worse and my "water features"
are getting larger, the floors are caving in, the foundation is cracked and sinking, and our electrical needs updating...these
are the larger ends of the problem with a whole list of other things besides.
We are hoping to get a house by the time the snow starts falling whether it be a new mobile home or a brand
new built home...we've done some checking into prices and for a new mobile home it would cost anywhere between $120,000 -
$130,000 to fit the whole family...as for a brand new built home...providing we do the work ourselves we are looking at approximately
$50,000 - $60,000.
We will keep everyone updated on what happens in the near future...although I can't say for sure when we
wil hear anything...until then I have posted pics of what we did to Scotia's room...so enjoy!!
